UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Jennifer Crispell has been named the Penn State Smeal College of Business Director of Alumni Relations. As director, Crispell will lead alumni engagement efforts for the college, managing outreach and communication to its more than 74,000 alumni.
A staff member at Smeal since 2010, Crispell previously served as the special events assistant in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. In that capacity she developed events and programs to foster engagement with thousands of members of the college’s alumni community.
“Alumni engagement is a critical piece of what we do here at Smeal, and over the past several years Jen has been an integral part of fostering that engagement,” said Charles H. Whiteman, John and Becky Surma Dean of Smeal. “Her experience positions her well to lead us in further serving our alumni as well as connecting them to the college and to each other.”
A Penn State alumna, Crispell graduated from the College of Communications with a B.S. in public relations. Prior to her position at Smeal, she was director of promotions and community relations for the State College Spikes.
Crispell succeeds Jennifer Eury, currently the director of honor and integrity for the college.
