Giancarlo Esposito rescheduled to speak at Penn State Altoona

Giancarlo Esposito will present at Penn State Altoona as part of the college’s Distinguished Speaker Series at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13, in the Adler Gymnasium.Esposito is an American actor, director and producer. He is likely best known for his portrayal of Gustavo "Gus" Fring on the AMC series "Breaking Bad," for which he won the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama award at the 2012 Critics' Choice Television Awards. He was also nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series award at the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards for the role. He has portrayed Sidney Glass on ABC's "Once Upon a Time" and currently portrays Major Tom Neville in the NBC series "Revolution." Esposito is also well-known for his roles in films such as "Do the Right Thing," "The Usual Suspects" and "King of New York."Free tickets for the event are available at the Penn State Altoona Bookstore, at the box office in the Misciagna Family Center or at the door on the evening of the program if tickets remain.Penn State Altoona provides The Distinguished Speaker Series as a student and community service.
