THON 2014 to be available online in high definition

At 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, more than 700 Penn State students will stay on their feet for 46 hours at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park to take a stand against childhood cancer as part of the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON).

Each year more than 15,000 students at Penn State campuses across Pennsylvania volunteer their time to raise money and awareness for the purpose of conquering pediatric cancer as part of the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON). Since 1977, THON has raised more than $101 million to the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital to help patients and families dealing with childhood cancer through superior care, comprehensive support and innovative research.
