Study Abroad travels to Chile

The Penn State Greater Allegheny campus will be offering a faculty-led study abroad program to the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción (UCSC), in Concepción, Chile from May 9-31.  The program offers three credits in literature and three credits in Mapuche language and culture, both taught in English at the UCSC. Students will also visit museums of art, history, and memory, a beautiful nature reserve, the city of Santiago, and other places. Professor MaryEllen Higgins will accompany students and teach the course on alternative voices in American literature. The program is open to all Penn State students.
