March religious and philosophical lecture scheduled at Penn State Schuylkill

The March religious and philosophical forum lecture at Penn State Schuylkill is scheduled for noon Friday, March. 21. Kenneth Miller, professor of Christian theology, Evangelical Seminary, Myerstown, will present “Evolution and Biblical Scripture,” in the R. Michael Fryer Conference Center at Penn State Schuylkill. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Several organizations have provided financial support for the series, including the Council of Churches of Schuylkill Haven and Vicinity; St. Marks United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven; and the Student Activity Funds of Penn State Schuylkill. The series also receives financial support from individuals, and appreciates any and all contributions to defray expenses.

All sessions in the series begin at noon in the R. Michael Fryer Conference Center at Penn State Schuylkill. Future sessions include:

April 25 -- “Why History Matters: Debunking the ‘Warfare’ View of Science and Religion,” Edward B. Davis, distinguished professor of the history of science, Messiah College, Mechanicsburg, Pa.
