Softball weekend games moved to Sunday, Monday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Due to travel issues caused by weather, Penn State softball's participation in LSU's Tiger Invitational has been moved to Sunday and Monday. In addition to the schedule changes, one of Penn State's two matchups with George Washington has been cancelled.

The Nittany Lions will open the four-game slate against GWU on Sunday at 10 a.m. (ET) and are set to take on Northwestern at 12:30 p.m. Penn State will face No. 21 LSU on Monday evening in a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m.

All four games will take place at LSU's Tiger Park.

Penn State, under new head coach Amanda Lehotak, opened the season with a 3-2 mark at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz., giving the Lions their best start since 2010
