Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence to offer course design workshop

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present two sessions of GA 102: Beyond the Basics of Course Design from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, and Thursday, Feb. 13, in Room 315 Rider Building. 

If you are ever planning to teach your own course, this interactive workshop will help you gain skills you need to develop classroom management finesse, design effective lesson plans, and prepare you for creating a dynamic and engaging classroom focused on student learning. This workshop, led by Jessica Arends, graduate consultant and doctoral candidate in curriculum and instruction and Shiv Karunakaran, graduate consultant and doctorate candidate in curriculum and instruction, is part of a three-seminar series focusing on best practices for integrated teaching and learning.

All graduate students are welcome.
