Inclement weather policies and procedures are clearly outlined for all campus employees and students. The community also is encouraged to register for PSUTXT, a service designed to alert the Penn State community when situations arise that affect the ability of a campus to function normally. Subscribers can receive alerts by text message to cellphones, and also can elect to have alerts sent to an email address. Registration is free.
