SBIR/STTR training session, consulting appointments available Jan. 28 and 29

The Office of Technology Development at Penn State Hershey offers an opportunity to learn more about Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funding from nationally recognized expert and trainer BBC Entrepreneurial Training and Consulting on Jan. 28 and 29. There are two opportunities to participate.

On Jan. 28, an SBIR/STTR training session will be held in the Hershey Center for Applied Research from 8:30 a.m.  to 5 p.m. During the program, individuals will learn about preparing a commercialization plan, which is critical to a successful proposal, writing a proposal to meet the reviewer’s expectations and strategies for targeting the proposal to meet the specific requirements of the funding agency. The training session accommodates all levels of experience with the SBIR/STTR programs.

On Jan. 29, individual consulting appointments will be available in the Hershey Center for Applied Research beginning at 8 a.m. Individuals or collaborators who plan on submitting a proposal or are seeking personalized feedback are encouraged to register. Appointments are available every hour.
