Next USAC Brown Bag Networking Luncheon set for Feb. 17

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- University Staff Advisory Council will present the next installment of the Brown Bag Networking Luncheon Series from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at a central University Park location, to be determined. The goal is to provide staff with the opportunity to gather together and network with each other to discuss a topic of common interest.  The discussion will be predominantly participant driven, so please come prepared to share your thoughts and learn how you might benefit from networking with other Penn State staff.By request, the focus for the February luncheon will be “Healthy Habits.” Staff members are invited to discuss ways that they work to keep themselves healthy. Do you commit to routine workouts? Have you found clever ways to include more activity into a schedule that’s too busy for a visit to the gym? Do you take vitamins and supplements? Have you made changes to your eating habits that have positively affected your health? Do you use safe habits for lifting heavy objects or products to encourage proper posture? Whatever your secrets are for getting or staying healthy, we’d like to hear them. Last year’s participants got us started with some fantastic suggestions; we’re hoping to offer a brief recap and highlight some new ones this year. Perhaps the exchange of our tips and tricks can help those of us who’ve adopted the most common of New Year’s Resolutions to work your way to a healthier, happier you.Dessert and beverages will be provided.Space is limited to the first 28 participants. RSVP to skt2@psu.edu by Wednesday, Feb. 12.
