Schreyer Institute to offer teaching philosophy workshop

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present two session of Writing an Effective Teaching Philosophy from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, in Room 315, Rider Building and from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p. m., Thursday, Jan. 23, in Room 201, Chambers Building.

No matter where you are in the process of creating your teaching philosophy, this interactive workshop will provide you with the tools you need for developing a strong statement that will stand out. This program will be led by Jessica Arends and Shiv Karunakaran, graduate consultants at the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence at Penn State. All graduate students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
