Penn State Procurement Services has announced that a scam email has been received by some Penn State Purchasing Card cardholders. The email, which carries the subject line "PNC Bank Alert: Important Account Notice", is designed to look like it has come from PNC bank and tries to get users to divulge account information. Those who receive the email should not reply or follow any links contained within.
