Office of Human Resources continues Weight Watchers subsidy

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- In an effort to support faculty and staff in achieving and/or maintaining a healthy weight, the Penn State Office of Human Resources is continuing the Weight Watchers 50 percent discount for the first six months of faculty/staff enrollment in the At Work Monthly Pass program or the online program.

The Weight Watchers Monthly Pass provides employees guidance from a leader and support from other program participants. Employees can attend unlimited local meetings with the Monthly Pass and will have access to free eTools, the Internet companion to meetings.

Employees who enroll with Weight Watchers Online can follow the plan at their own pace, anytime, anywhere. Weight Watchers provides a tailored website that serves the unique needs of both men and women, and provides interactive online tools like a weight tracker, progress charts and restaurant guides.
