Wolf named College of Health and Human Development marshal at commencement

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Kathryn Wolf, daughter of Polly and Kevin Wolf of Potomac, Md., will serve as the student marshal at the Dec. 21 commencement ceremony for the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State. She will receive a bachelor's degree in kinesiology.

While at Penn State, Wolf received an Evan Pugh Scholar Award and a President's Freshman Award. She also was a member of the Health and Human Development Honor Society. She will graduate with a 3.99 grade-point average.

In addition to her academic achievements, Wolf was a member of Global Medical Brigades with whom she traveled to Nicaragua. She also was a member of the Kinesiology Club. In addition, she served as the opportunities coordinator of the Pre-Physician Assistant Club and as a clinic intern at University Health Services. She worked as a teaching assistant for Biology 110 and as a nursing assistant.

Wolf plans to attend physician assistant school after graduation. She will be escorted at commencement by faculty marshal James Pawelczyk.
