Return to Rec sold out, standing room tickets on sale

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- A limited number of standing room tickets have been released for Return to Rec, presented by AAA, as the Penn State men's basketball team takes on Princeton in historic Rec Hall at 2 p.m. Saturday. All 6,022 seats have sold out, but 300 standing room only tickets are now available to meet public demand.

The standing room tickets are $10 and available for purchase by calling 1-800-NITTANY  or by visiting the Bryce Jordan Center Box Office. Rates are the same for adults, children and students.

Penn State had a 514-183 record over 68-plus seasons in the storied venue and return for the first time since Jan. 7, 1996 and a 79-50 rout of Wisconsin. The Rec Hall record includes three wins over Princeton, who the Lions have an 8-3 advantage against in the all-time series.

The 2013-14 version of the NIttany Lions hold an 8-3 record after knocking off Duquesne, 68-59, Wednesday at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh. Four players are averaging double-figures for one of the highest-scoring offenses in program history, paced by the top-scoring backcourt duo in the nation in Tim Frazier and D.J. Newbill who combine for over 36 points per game.
