Spring 2014 Arts Project workshop series announced

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Arts Project at Penn State Lehigh Valley will offer a variety of workshops for six weeks from Jan. 13 to Feb. 20. All instructors are Penn State adjunct faculty for the campus’ growing art program and bring a wealth of artistic experiences to the program.

"Acting for Film" is new for this session and will be offered from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays with instructor Katina Bozikis. This is an intensive course on acting for film. Participants can learn all aspects of acting from improvisation to scene study. Students will work on scenes from various films using the Sanford Meisner technique. The course is open to all who want to learn about acting.

Other workshops offered include Beginning and Advanced Jewelry and Metalwork, Drawing and Design Fundamentals, and Exploring Printmaking.
