Chosen Dance Company educates as it entertains

Chosen Dance Company operates with the mission of making hip-hop culture more accessible to a wider audience, regardless of age, race or gender, while also validating its place in the world as a legitimate art form. They will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.

Members of the Chosen Dance Company work with afterschool programs throughout the tri-state area and are dedicated to using hip-hop as a medium to communicate tolerance and respect. They have performed on ESPN’s X-Games VIII, BET’s "106 & Park," during Super Bowl XL and in in the NFL's NFC commercials. They also competed on "America’s Next Best Dance Crew."
