Inaugural Penn State Engaged Scholarship Expo set for Nov. 20

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Council on Engaged Scholarship will host its first Engaged Scholarship Expo at 5 p.m. Nov. 20 in the Foster Auditorium of the Paterno Library. Students, faculty and staff are invited to learn more about the scope and potential of engaged scholarship and connect with others who are passionate about the topic. Twelve engaged scholarship pioneers will present on their efforts, including the Sustainable Communities Collaborative, The Learning Factory, and the Humanitarian Engineering and Social Entrepreneurship (HESE) Program, among others.No registration is required for attendance.
