Dining@PSU app now available for Android users

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Campus Dining app, Dining@PSU, is now available in the Google Play Store for Android users. Introduced last fall for iPhone users, the free app offers students an easy and convenient way to learn what is on the menu at the various campus eateries.

The Dining@PSU app for Android boasts all the same features as its iPhone counterpart. After selecting their campus, students can check the latest news, view a map of campus eatery locations, check menus, hours and nutritional information, and keep track of personal choices each day with a food log. Students can also mark foods as “favorites” and will receive notifications when the item is offered and at what campus dining location.

The app's features are:

News - Stay in the loop about all news related to campus dining at Penn State with a feed of the most current news updates and stories.

Map - Find any of the dining areas on an interactive map that shows all dining locations on campus with details on each.

Hours - See the hours for all dining areas.

Menu - Check the breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night menus at any of the dining commons for today and the following week. You can also find the nutritional information for all of the listed foods, including options that are healthy, meatless and/or vegan.

My Foods - Not only are you able to read the nutritional values for all of the food on campus, but now you can personalize your own daily food log by adding what you ate from the dining areas that day. In addition, you can add custom foods to keep an accurate track of your intake.
