UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State men's basketball team opens the 2013-14 campaign against Wagner at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Bryce Jordan Center. The game will be streamed through GoPSUsports.com and the Big Ten Digital Network and heard live on the Penn State Sports Network with Loren Crispell and Dick Jerardi calling the action.
This the second year in a row the Nittany Lions have started off the season with a Nov. 9 matchup, the earliest start date in program history. All Penn State freshmen students will be admitted free to the game and it will be an ever-popular Dollar Dog Night. Penn State has won its last eight season openers dating to the 2005 season and is 87-30 all-time in season opening games, 77-10 in home season openers.

LIMITED BAG POLICYPenn State has implemented a limited bag policy at all home athletic events this season. One clear plastic one-gallon plastic bag per person will be permitted for medical needs, child care needs and general items as needed. Items that can fit in a pocket should remain in patrons' pockets (i.e. keys, cell phone, wallet, glasses, camera, sunscreen, lip balm, make-up). General items of this nature, including those that don't fit in patrons' pocket, can also be placed in a clear plastic one-gallon plastic bag. All clear bags will be inspected through the bag and article check stations as in prior years.
TICKET INFORMATIONNittany Lion basketball single-game tickets or group tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-NITTANY, visiting GoPSUsports.com or through Ticketmaster. Single-game tickets range from $5-$24 with special group ticket rates for groups of 15 fans or more. Six-game mini plans also are currently available and feature games against: Marshall (Dec. 7), Michigan State (Dec. 31), Indiana (Jan. 11), Iowa (Feb. 15), Ohio State (Feb. 27) and Wisconsin (March 2).
