Next Brown Bag Networking Luncheon set for Dec. 3

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The University Staff Advisory Council will hold its next Brown Bag Networking Luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Those who RSVP to by Nov. 27 will be notified of the luncheon location, which has yet to be determined but will be centrally located at University Park.

The goal of the series is to provide staff with the opportunity to gather together and network with each other to discuss a topic of common interest. The discussion will be predominantly participant driven, so please come prepared to share your thoughts and learn how you might benefit from networking with other Penn State staff.

The focus for the December luncheon will be “We Have THAT in our Community?!” Staff members are invited to share resources and events that they know about and to come learn from each other. Do you have a favorite local coffee shop? Where do you go to enjoy the great outdoors? Which stores have the best deals? What are your favorite State College annual events? What type of interest groups exist at University Park? This luncheon offers the opportunity to highlight the great aspects of our campus and community. If you’re new to Penn State, take advantage of this opportunity to learn more and get involved.

Dessert and beverages will be provided.

Space is limited to the first 45 participants.
