Pink Glove Dance voting ends Nov. 8

In Chocolatetown, USA — also known as Hershey, Pa. — the community is working to kiss cancer goodbye. More than 500 employees, patients and survivors from Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and community partner, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company, along with the Nittany Lion and HERSHEY’S KISS, recently donned pink gloves to support the hundreds of thousands of women and men across the country who every day bear the “ups” and “downs” of a breast cancer diagnosis.

The result was a 90-second video inspired by the internationally renowned scientists making promising new discoveries that might one day lead to a cure, and the specialized treatment teams dedicated to caring for Penn State Hershey patients’ physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, as well as their families and caregivers.

Voting is underway for this year’s Pink Glove Dance Video competition. This year, people can vote once per day per email address. The first place winner earns a prize of $25,000 for the charity of their choice. If Penn State Hershey wins, the prize money will be donated to the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC).

Penn State Hershey earned second place in the competition last year and gave a $5,000 check to the PBCC.
