Registration is now open for the fall 2013 Pechter Business Plan Competition.
The competition is an opportunity for Penn State Altoona students to turn ideas into real business ventures. Students form interdisciplinary teams, take ideas from the concept phase through a feasibility study/market analysis to a full business plan, and build a new venture. The competition is designed for students across all programs at Penn State Altoona, not just those enrolled in the entrepreneurial or business curriculum. Student teams receive extensive feedback and receive written comments from judges. Cash prizes of as much as $5,000 plus in-kind legal and accounting services are awarded.
