Manage and release stress at the fitness center

Three new University Fitness Center (UFC) specialty classes will focus on how to manage and release stress with new sessions later this month at Penn State Hershey.

The Kundalini Gentle Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation classes (starting Oct. 22 and 23 respectively) use breathing and meditation to build coping skills and rejuvenate the body, while the Tae Kwon Do class (starting Oct. 28) relies on mental focus and concentration to blend self-defense techniques with stretching, injury prevention and stress reduction.

Each of these specialty classes allows participants the opportunity to try the first class before committing to the multi-week session. Additionally these classes, as with all UFC specialty classes, are open to nonmembers. For full class details visit pennstatehershey.org/ufc.
