EdVenture will celebrate medical and graduate education in April

L. Dee Fink will be the Woodward Lecturer at EdVenture 2014 on Thursday, April 24. This annual event celebrates educational accomplishments at Penn State Hershey and includes the lecture, a workshop, poster presentations and an award ceremony. CME credit is available.

Fink is the founding director of the Instructional Development Program at the University of Oklahoma and also served as president of the Professional and Organizational Development (POD) Network in Higher Education, the primary professional association for faculty developers in the United States. Fink has consulted with more than 200 colleges and universities both in the United States and abroad, and is the author of several books, including “Creating Significant Learning Experiences, an Integrated Approach to Designing College Courses.”
