The Penn State Schuylkill Commission for Women will be sponsoring its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk from noon to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18. Everyone is encouraged to come and support the cause. Participants will wear pink shirts and walk around the athletic field. Light refreshments will be available. While there is no fee for participation, donations will be accepted. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
In addition, the Commission for Women at Penn State Schuylkill will be raffling off baskets from various campus organizations and clubs.
