Discover Penn State Schuylkill's hidden treasures at homecoming weekend!

Alumni, students, and families will gather at Penn State Schuylkill on the weekend of Oct. 25 for homecoming. Weekend events and activities include a spaghetti dinner, hypnotist, THON 5K, open house, picnic, alumni reception, tailgate for the Ohio State game, theater and brunch, and an alumni basketball game. Several of the events are open to the public.

Events kick off beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25 with the third annual THON spaghetti dinner at the First United Church of Christ, adjacent to the campus. This event is open to Penn State alumni, students, community, family and friends. Cost for the dinner is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. On Saturday morning, Oct. 26, the THON 5K to benefit pediatric cancer research will be held. The event begins at 9 a.m. at The Island in Schuylkill Haven, Pa. This event is open to Penn State alumni, students, community, family and friends. Registration on or before Oct. 12 is $20 and after is $25. Saturday, Oct. 26 also is Penn State Day for future Penn Staters. This event begins at 10 a.m. in the lobby of the Student Community Center. During this event attendees can meet with members of our admissions team, current students and staff members who will answer questions about Penn State. Campus tours will be available. The festivities continue on Sunday, Oct. 27 when The Nittany Players will provide a theatrical showcase during Theater and Brunch. This event begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Morgan Auditorium. This event is free and open to Penn State alumni, students, community, family and friends.

An alumni basketball game will take place on the outdoor courts at 1 p.m.
