Penn State Day Open House set for Oct. 19

UNIONTOWN, Pa. – Prospective students of all ages are invited to participate in Penn State Day at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 19, in the Eberly Building. This open house event for current high school students, recent high school graduates and returning adults is designed to be an informational day allowing participants to explore the range of opportunities awaiting them at Penn State.

Activities scheduled for the day include campus tours beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a presentation on Penn State’s 160 majors, how and when to apply for admissions, and why Penn State is the best value for prospective college-bound students. Guests will have an opportunity to speak to faculty in different academic areas. A financial aid workshop will be presented for people interested in learning about the student aid process.

Applications to Penn State can be submitted at the open house. The $50 application fee will be waived for all who attend. Do not forget to bring your official transcripts. Acceptance decisions will be made on the spot for most majors.
