Schreyer Institute to offer two sessions of Beyond the Basics of Course Design

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present two sessions of GA 102: Beyond the Basics of Course Design from 1:45 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, in Room 201 Chambers Building and from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p. m., Thursday, Oct. 3, in Room 315 Rider.

This interactive workshop will help you gain skills you need to develop classroom management finesse, design effective lesson plans, and prepare you for creating a dynamic and engaging classroom focused on student learning. This program will be led by Chas Brua, instructional consultant at the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence. This workshop is part of a three-seminar series focusing on best practices for integrated teaching and learning. All graduate students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
