Buffalo Philharmonic trombone players to perform Oct. 7

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State's School of Music will host the trombone section of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in a free recital at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, in Esber Recital Hall. Their program will include chamber music as well solos for each performer, accompanied by members of the Penn State Trombone Choir and trombone faculty member Mark Lusk

Jonathan Lombardo, Timothy Smith and Jeffrey Dee gained international acclaim with their recent performance of Eric Ewazen's Concerto for Three Trombone and Orchestra, commissioned and premiered by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Joann Falletta.
