College of Engineering celebrates 25 years of service by faculty, staff

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The College of Engineering celebrated a dozen faculty and staff members who have given 25 years of service to Penn State in a ceremony today (Sept. 18) in Kunkle Lounge.

This year's honorees are:

- Holly Benscoter, systems administrator in the college's Electronic and Computing Services group;

- David DeCapria, engineering laboratory manager in electrical engineering;

- Doretta Garvey, staff assistant in bioengineering;

- Catherine Harmonosky, associate professor of industrial and manufacturing engineering and materials science and engineering;

- Elena Joshi, instructor in industrial and manufacturing engineering;

- Sanjay Joshi, professor of industrial and manufacturing engineering and materials science and engineering;

- David Klinikowski, research associate at the Thomas D. Larson Pennsylvania Transportation Institute;

- John Mathews, professor of electrical engineering;

- John Petro, mechanical technician at the Thomas D. Larson Pennsylvania Transportation Institute;

- Mark Raffetto, Engineering Copy Center operator in the Department of Architectural Engineering;

- Andrew Scanlon, professor of civil engineering; and

- Timothy Snider, test technician at the Thomas D. Larson Pennsylvania Transportation Institute.

As part of their 25-year award, each honoree is given a commemorative plaque and pin, plus their choice of a Penn State captain's chair, rocking chair or Penn State Elms mantel clock.
