Brown Bag Networking Luncheon planned for Oct. 7

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The University Staff Advisory Council will hold its next Brown Bag Networking Luncheon Series from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 7 at a central location on campus to be announced soon.

The goal of the series is to provide staff with the opportunity to gather together and network with each other to discuss a topic of common interest. The discussion will be predominantly participant driven, so please come prepared to share your thoughts and learn how you might benefit from networking with other Penn State staff.

The focus for the October luncheon will be “Sharing Best Practices for Developing a Positive Community.” Staff members are invited to discuss how they view their own role in creating the atmosphere in which they work. How do you as a Penn State staff member work to create a positive morale in your own office? How do you or can you invest in your work environment to make it a safe, positive place to do business? Spread your positivity around our institution by sharing whatever works for you and your office.

Dessert and beverages will be provided.

Space is limited to the first 25 participants. RSVP to skt2@psu.edu by Tuesday, Oct. 1.
