Media event for 'No Place to Be Somebody' set for Sept. 11

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State Centre Stage will hold a media photo shoot and interview session at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at Pavilion Theatre for the upcoming play "No Place to Be Somebody," by Charles Gordone and directed by Charles Dumas.

In the middle of the Civil Rights era, on the heels of the Black Power movement, a black bartender matches wits with a white mobster in this Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Shows are scheduled for:

Previews at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1 and 3
Opening night at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4
Evenings at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10
Matinees at 2 p.m. Oct. 5

Evening tickets are $18; preview/matinee tickets are $16. Penn State Student tickets are $12 with valid PSU ID.
