Centre Stage plans media event for 'No Place to Be Somebody'

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State Centre Stage will hold a media photo shoot and interview session for "No Place to Be Somebody" at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Pavilion Theatre.

"No Place to Be Somebody" is written by Charles Gordone and directed by Charles Dumas. In the middle of the Civil Rights era, on the heels of the Black Power movement, a black bartender matches wits with a white mobster in this Pulitzer Prize-winning play, which will be performed on the following dates:

Previews at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1 and 3
Opening night at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4
Evenings at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10
Matinee at 2 p.m. Oct. 5

Evening tickets are $18; preview/matinee tickets are $16. Tickets for Penn State student are $12 with a valid PSU ID.
