Documentary 'First Sight' highlights curable blindness in India

The Association of Indians at Hershey (AIH) will host the 27th screening of “First Sight,” a documentary about curable blindness in India by TV anchor and Harrisburg native Joya Dass at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 6 in the Junker Auditorium on the Penn State Hershey campus. An Indian dinner will be served.

Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for non-students, and admission is free for kids younger than 10. Reserve tickets by emailing aihpennstate@gmail.com.

A portion of the money raised from the event will be donated to Sankara Eye Care Institute, which provides free eye care to the underprivileged in rural India.
