Professors to offer poetry reading

Two English program faculty members will read from their new books of poetry at 4 p.m. Sept. 12 in Rooms 101-103 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts at Penn State Altoona. Todd Davis, professor of English and environmental studies, will read from "In the Kingdom of the Ditch," and Erin Murphy, associate professor of English, will read from "Distant Glitter."

"In the Kingdom of the Ditch" is Davis’ fourth poetry collection while "Distant Glitter" is Murphy’s fifth.

Sponsored by the English program and the Division of Arts and Humanities, the reading is free and open to the public. Davis and Murphy will sign copies of their books, which will be available for purchase.
