Law School Alumni & Reunion weekend set for Sept. 27, 28

Alumni are invited to connect with classmates and faculty

The Law School will host its 25th annual Alumni & Reunion Weekend on Friday, Sept. 27, and Saturday, Sept. 28, at Lewis Katz Hall in Carlisle, Pa. Law School graduates are invited to return to campus to reconnect with classmates, faculty and administrators, as well as to meet current law students. The Law School community looks forward to celebrating reunion years for classes ending in 3s and 6s. On the occasion of their 50th class reunion, members of the Class of 1963 will be inducted into the Golden Lawyer Society with commemorative pins by Mitchell B. Klein, Class of 1987, president of the Law School's Alumni Society's Board of Directors.

Alumni & Reunion Weekend kicks off with a welcome reception on Friday evening. Alumni will have the opportunity to meet and hear remarks from James W. Houck, recently appointed interim dean of the Law School and School of International Affairs. Senior Associate Dean Gary S. Gildin will also welcome alumni back to campus. Saturday's schedule of events includes annual favorites like free continuing legal education offerings taught by law school alumni and faculty; an outdoor barbecue on the grounds of Lewis Katz Hall; and an evening cocktail reception followed by alumni and reunion class dinners. Tours of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Silver certified Lewis Katz Hall will be available throughout the weekend so that alumni can experience the building's green facilities and state-of-the-art classroom technology.
