They’re known for everything from flying to shooting webs. But on Monday (July 22), some popular superheroes traded their special powers for window-washing equipment and converged on Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. Spider-Man, Batman, Captain America and Superman joined forces to brighten windows – and the day – for some of Penn State Hershey’s youngest patients.

The window-washing crew from Northeastern Building Maintenance Systems Inc. donned their costumes before rappelling down the front of the Children’s Hospital building to the delight of patients, their families and campus visitors.

They're known for everything from flying to shooting webs. But on July 22, 2013, some popular superheroes traded in their special powers for window washing equipment and converged on Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. Superman, Spiderman, Batman and Captain America joined forces to brighten windows -- and the day -- for some of our youngest patients. To mark the occasion, several nurses and other Children's Hospital staff also dressed in superhero-themed clothing. A special thanks to our window washing team of Northeastern Building Maintenance Systems, Inc.
