BTN, ESPNU to air coverage of 2013 Big Ten Football Media Days

PARK RIDGE, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference announced today (July 22) that BTN and ESPNU will continue to air coverage of the opening session of the 2013 Big Ten Football Media Days on Wednesday, July 24, at the Hilton Chicago. 

Penn State coach Bill O'Brien will address the media at 2:15 p.m.     

BTN will present five hours of live coverage, airing the press conferences for all 12 coaches, BTN President Mark Silverman, Tournament of Roses President Scott Jenkins and Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany. Mike Hall and Derek Rackley will host the network’s live coverage beginning at 11 a.m. on BTN and on BTN2Go. Fans can also track the day’s activities by following BTN.com’s Tom Dienhart (@BTNTomDienhart) and Brent Yarina (@BTNBrentYarina) on Twitter. BTN will re-air the press conferences beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

For the eighth consecutive year, the opening session of the Big Ten Football Media Days will appear on an ESPN network. Coverage by ESPNU will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday and is scheduled to feature all 12 head coaches, Jenkins and Delany either live or tape-delayed as they address the assembled media. In addition, select Big Ten coaches and players will appear live on ESPN’s "SportsCenter," "College Football Live" or on ESPNU.
