This summer two Penn State Beaver Admissions Office staff members -- Dan Pinchot and Rachel Zughaib -- received expanded roles and responsibilities. Pinchot, director of enrollment management, has assumed oversight of the Admissions and Financial Aid Office at Penn State Shenango, in addition to his responsibilities at Beaver. Zughaib, admissions counselor, was named Beaver’s assistant director of admissions with increased responsibilities for various aspects of Beaver’s admissions activities, including oversight of recruitment, admissions event planning, and daily operations.
“In the spirit of sharing administrative infrastructure as suggested by the (Penn State) Core Council Report, we anticipate that our two admissions and student aid staffs under Dan's leadership will work together to enhance enrollment for each location, increasing the opportunities available in our shared region of the Commonwealth,” said Beaver campus Chancellor Gary Keefer.
“This arrangement is the latest example of the collaborative relationship our two campuses have established over time,” Keefer noted. “Sharing personnel and academic programs has proved positive for Beaver and Shenango, and our fruitful partnership will continue into the future.”
