Registration is now open for the Hershey Half Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 20, benefitting Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. Participants can walk, run or take part in a two-person relay. The 13.1-mile course is popular for its unique race route through several Hershey landmarks, including Hersheypark. There is also a Chocolate Aid Station and a Miracle Mile station where Miracle Children cheer on participants.
The single entry race fee is $85 and the relay team is $140. The entry fee includes a personalized bib, timing device, commemorative shirt, medal and two tickets to Hersheypark in the Dark. Children can also participate in a Fun Run on Saturday, Oct. 19, for $12 per child.
New this year — participants can set up a personalized, fundraising page and encourage friends and family to donate in their honor. Runners are encouraged to register early because the event sells out.
