Penn State Altoona to host rabies clinic

Penn State Altoona will hold a low-cost rabies clinic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 13 at Laurel Pavilion.

The clinic, run by veterinary doctor Edwin D. Bracken, Jr. is held in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Department of Agriculture to promote the awareness of and protection against rabies in the community.

Fees are as follows:
Rabies                   $15
8-in-1 (dog)           $20, includes: Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Lepto-4
Lyme disease       $25
Kennel cough       $25
4-in-1 (cat)           $20, includes: Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, Feline Leukemia
