Introductory events for Penn State MBA in Pittsburgh scheduled

Penn State Behrend’s Pittsburgh MBA degree program will hold two events this summer for prospective students.

MBA program director William H. A. Johnson will host introductory meetings to discuss master’s degree in business administration curriculum, course content and expectations, credit exemptions, application requirements and GMAT preparation on Thursday, July 11, and Wednesday, July 24. Both sessions take place at 6 p.m. at the Regional Learning Alliance, 850 Cranberry Woods Drive.

Penn State Behrend’s Sam and Irene Black School of Business offers an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International-accredited part-time MBA program for working professionals in a hybrid format of 75 percent online learning and 25 percent classroom instruction at the RLA. The program can be completed in nine semesters, although credit exemptions that shorten that time are available to applicants who completed undergraduate courses in business within the past seven years.

The Black School of Business MBA is offered in partnership with the Pittsburgh-area Penn State campuses of Beaver, Greater Allegheny and New Kensington. For more information or to register for either session, visit or call the Penn State Behrend Office of Graduate Admissions at 866-374-3378.
