Great Valley to screen documentary on environmental issues in the U.S.

Penn State Great Valley will present a screening of the award-winning documentary “YERT: Your Environmental Road Trip” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, in The Conference Center, 30 E. Swedesford Road, Malvern.

This thought-provoking, inspiring and sometimes hilarious documentary explores the movers and shakers who are tackling the greatest environmental threats in history. The three filmmakers encounter the good, the bad and the weird, including a 92-year-old caveman who's built an entire cave community in the mountains, an electrical engineer working to repower America with solar roadways, Eco-Elvis, Florida's Earth Man and a recycling plant that turns garbage into almost anything. This event is free but registration is required.
