Dr. Jeffrey Miller, professor and vice chair for clinical and educational affairs for the Department of Dermatology, has been appointed to the position of associate dean for administration at Penn State College of Medicine, succeeding Dr. Donald Martin, professor of anesthesiology.
Effective May 1, Miller will provide leadership for oversight and management of Penn State Hershey’s strategic planning process and the unified campus teams, leadership of conflict of interest programs and oversight of campus disability services programs.
Since April 2009, Martin served in this role with great dedication, overseeing a dramatic expansion of Penn State Hershey’s conflict of interest programs, a revitalization of the departmental review process and a transformation of the strategic planning process. Now serving as senior adviser to the CEO and dean, he will continue to oversee the departmental review process.
