Penn State beats Ohio State in Fight for Life blood drive

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State defeated Ohio State in the third annual Fight for Life, collecting 1,010 units of blood in April.

Ohio State collected 848 units. The Nittany Lions won by 70 units (pints) last year, after falling to the Buckeyes in the inaugural year. This is the last blood drive campaign of the semester. Penn State ended the drive with 130 units donated April 24 in the HUB-Robeson center.
