Police arrest man suspected of making threats

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- University Police have apprehended the man who allegedly made threats today (April 17) in the HUB-Robeson Center on campus. The man, identified as Aarao M Cornello Jr., of State College, Pa., was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Tom Jordan and charged with making terroristic threats and two counts of disorderly conduct for striking parked vehicles with a stick. He currently is being held on $15,000 bail.

Cornello reportedly said he planned to obtain a gun and "shoot people" after police told him he could not sleep in the HUB. He was arrested in downtown State College following a police search for his whereabouts.
