CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Twenty-five students submitted their research projects for consideration during Penn State Lehigh Valley's annual Undergraduate Research Symposium held on April 4 at the campus in Center Valley. First, second and third place awards were bestowed on the top projects in both the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), and arts and humanities categories. The winning projects are:

The next step for some of these winners as well as other participating projects was to present their work at the annual regional undergraduate research symposium, which was held at Penn State Hazleton this year on April 16. Lehigh Valley campus faculty were also among the judges at the regional event.
