Applications sought for the Commission for Women's Mentoring Program

The Penn State Commission for Women's Mentoring Program is accepting applications for protégés and mentors for the 2013-14 academic year.

Full-time Penn State employees may apply online at http://equity.psu.edu/cfw/programs/application. The application deadline is Saturday, June 1.

The mentoring program promotes professional and personal development for full-time Penn State faculty, exempt and nonexempt staff, and technical-service employees, by pairing protégés with mentors who can provide advice and resources to help them meet their individual and specific professional goals such as career planning, job skills enhancement and greater University involvement.

Open houses hosted by the mentoring program committee members will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the following dates for anyone interested in learning more about the program:

-- Tuesday, April 23, Alumni Lounge, Old Main
-- Wednesday, April 24, Bennett Pierce Living Center, 110 Henderson Building
-- Wednesday, May 8, Bennett Pierce Living Center, 110 Henderson Building
-- Thursday, May 9, Bennett Pierce Living Center, 110 Henderson Building
