UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Through the end of the fall 2012 semester, Penn State has conferred a total of 706,724 degrees. As of spring 2013 the University's total number of graduates should approach 719,545.This spring Penn State expects to award approximately 12,821 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing 568 associate, 10,296 baccalaureate, 1,346 master's,142 medical, 246 law and 223 doctoral degrees.
At University Park 11 students are expected to receive associate degrees, while 8,199 will be awarded baccalaureate degrees. Approximately 996 master's degree students are expected to graduate, as are 223 doctoral degree candidates.All figures listed are estimates as of April 1; totals do not include Penn College.

Lew gained regulatory experience as general counsel for the U.S. Department of Commerce. His impact at York goes beyond serving on the campus advisory board. His company’s creative work is evident in the designs of the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center, the Lee R. Glatfelter Library, the Lair student lounge and most recently the Ralph G. and Madeline B. Swenson Engineering Center. Dittenhafer holds a bachelor of science degree in arts and architecture from Penn State as well as a master of architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
